Auburn at Duke, Alabama at UNC; Headline 2024 ACC/SEC Challenge

The matchups for the second annual ACC/SEC Challenge were revealed on Wednesday, headlined by the Auburn Tigers heading to Cameron Indoor to face the Duke Blue Devils and the Alabama Crimson Tide heading to Chapel Hill with a date with the North Carolina Tar Heels.
The inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge ended in a 7-7 tie with the Arkansas Razorbacks upsetting the Duke Blue Devils which completed the SEC comeback from a 7-4 deficit.
The marquee matches will take place on December 4 as Auburn's Head Coach Bruce Pearl will lead preseason All-American Johni Broome and the Tigers in hostile territory against the No.1 recruiting class from the Blue Devils led by Cooper Flagg.
The Tide and Heels matchup will feature two outstanding guards in Mark Sears for the Tide and RJ Davis for the Tar Heels. Sears decided to return to Tuscaloosa and withdraw from the NBA Draft while RJ Davis was a Wooden Award candidate after a stellar year last season.
Other intriguing matchups include John Calipari, now the coach at Arkansas, leading the Razorbacks down to Coral Gables to face the Miami Hurricanes. The Kentucky Wildcats in the post-Calipari era with Mark Pope taking over will travel to Clemson and face the Tigers. Speaking of coaches, Tony Bennett received a new extension at the University of Virginia will have his Cavaliers travel down to Gainesville, Florida to face Todd Golden and the Florida Gators.
