CM Punk: "I'm not here to make friends. I'm here to make money."

By Alex Al-Kazzaz

First and foremost, let's be honest, we're still feeling the adrenaline and the energy from Survivor Series WarGames. And we're not just talking about the return of R-Truth and Randy Orton, but CM PUNK! CM PUNK! The man's back in WWE! Something we thought would NEVER EVER happen. Nearly ten years after he infamously walked on of the company, he vowed to never ever return. BUT HE DID. And he proudly declared, "I'm home!"

The adrenaline and energy from Sunday only increased from what we saw on Monday Night Raw in NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE, baby! Randy Orton's promo was a masterpiece, as always! CM Punk's promo was classic. Not quite a pipebomb, but a typical CM Punk babyface promo along with a slight troll to the Nashville audience that supports its hockey team, the Nashville Predators! And it was great to hear that his wife AJ Lee is doing great! Boy, we sure do miss her!

We all know about the footage of Seth Rollins being angry when Survivor Series went off the air. Is it a deliberate work or is it a legitimate shoot? WHO KNOWS?! Although on Raw, Rollins called Punk a hypocrite. And we all saw what Rollins said at a live event the night prior to Monday Night Raw about how he wasn't going to waste his time talking about Punk. Are we sensing CM Punk vs Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40? WHO KNOWS.

It's good to see that Punk and Triple H have reconciled and put the past behind them. Let's be honest, though, because if Vince McMahon was still in charge, Punk wouldn't be back. Imagine this; with Vinnie Mac not no longer being involved in booking and creative direction, Punk can proudly tell the fans in a promo, "Don't worry, Vince isn't my boss!" Hopefully, this time around, Punk will have what he's always dreamed of; the main event of WrestleMania. Let's not forget, that was one of the reasons he walked out in 2014. In all seriousness, if Punk and McMahon could reconcile and shake hands, everyone would be happy, including the fans. If McMahon and Punk can bury the hatchet and move on, the fans can, as well!

As far as storylines, etc, where does Punk go from here? Good question. Will we see him at the Royal Rumble? In the match? Maybe. Cody Rhodes declared himself a participant, so perhaps Punk will? Maybe Orton too? WHO KNOWS? As far as Punk goes, who knows what's in store?! All we know is that we're excited!
