Huge Europe to MLS Transfer Confirmed!

No, it's not Gareth Bale. That one is just ok. The real deal is the long-rumored transfer of USMNT right back Shaq Moore to Nashville SC is finally complete.

The deal was expected to be complete during the winter transfer window, but when Moore's former club Tenerife found themselves in the hunt for promotion to La Liga they decided to hang on to the talented defender. Once their run at promotion ended unsuccessfully, Moore was back on the market.

While the signing does not have the flash of a Gareth Bale or Giorgio Chiellini, Moore will be a huge addition for Nashville SC as they look to climb MLS's Western Conference table. The team was in desperate need of a true right back following Allaistair Johnston's departure, and Moore will slide right into that spot once he is match fit. At only 25 years old Moore has the potential to be a long term marquee player for both Nashville SC and MLS as a whole.

Moore's arrival also has the potential to have an impact on the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup. Moore is one of the fringe players playing for a spot on the USMNT's roster for soccer's biggest competition. Playing regular games alongside his USMNT teammate Walker Zimmerman will hopefully boost Moore's chance of making the squad.
