This week, we honor and celebrate the remarkable career of Rocky Johnson, also known as the "Soul Man" and a trailblazer in professional wrestling. One of the most talented and influential Superstars of his era, Rocky Johnson broke barriers with his impressive skills, charisma, and undeniable presence inside the ring. The father of megastar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
He paved the way for future generations as one the first African American wrestlers to achieve major success in WWE. One of those successes being the first black champions in WWE history as he and Tony Altas captured the WWF Tag Team Championships back in 1983.
He inspired countless of fans and athletes as he elevated the sport and transformed the landscape of professional wrestling.
Rocky Johnson, a true legend whose impact continues to resonate today.
