Monday Night Football Double-Header

By Alex Al-Kazzaz

There's nothing like an exciting Monday Night Football game, huh? Especially after a long and stressful Monday, no? Now, the schedule is NOT fully out yet, but at least we've already gotten some exciting news regarding MNF. An exciting doubler-header in Week 2!

September 19th will feature Tennessee vs Buffalo followed by Minnesota vs Philadelphia. A rematch between the Bills and Titans from last October. Remember when Derrick Henry rushed for over 140 yards and scored three times? We all remember when Josh Allen was stopped on a crucial fourth-down play that sealed the win for the Titans. With the rematch taking place in Buffalo, no doubt Allen & company are out for revenge.

No doubt, the Eagles vs Vikings is a match that will attract attention. Minnesota coming in with Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson is respectable. However, the Eagles have DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown now. The Eagles should be strongly considered as the overwhelming favorites to win the NFC East. The Vikings have a new head coach now. After a bad 8-9 record, the Vikings needed to make a much-needed change. Minnesota is ready to start a reign of rule in the NFC North.

As far as the NFC East goes, the Eagles and Giants could be fighting over that division for years to come. Washington might join the fight once or twice along with Dallas, but Philadelphia may reign supreme. Let's be honest, it's about time that the NFC East becomes a highly competitive environment, no?

The rest of the schedule is to come out later this week. The preseason begins in about three months. Time's truly flying quickly! Be excited!
