The Playmaker's Picks:

Miami Heat vs. Denver Nuggets

Young, talented, Miami Heat team with veteran leadership from Jimmy Butler, have this team currently the 4th Seed in the East. 3-points snipers in Duncan Robinson (44.8%) and Tyler Herron (39.1%). Kendrick Nunn in the Rookie of the Year conversation and Bam Adebayo up for the Most Improved Player Award.

However, the Denver Nuggets, currently the 3rd seed in the West have young talent as well but with experience. Led by The Joker, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, the Nuggets are just 6 games behind the Los Angeles Lakers for top seed and 1 games behind the Los Angeles Clippers for the 2nd seed. Be aware of Bol Bol out of Oregon in his rookie season and Michael Porter Jr., who is finally health to play basketball after missing his rookie due to injury.

Both teams are in the playoffs, this restart is all about seeding for the playoffs in their respective conferences.

Playmaker's Pick: Denver Nuggets

Utah Jazz vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

Utah opened the restart season with a win over the New Orleans. Oklahoma City is playing their first game of the restart with a score 106-104. Six players for Utah scored in double-figures Thursday night led by Jordan Clarkson off the bench with 23 points.

One the surprising teams of the season in the Oklahoma City Thunder led by Chris Paul and Sixth Man of the Year candidate, Dennis Schroder. OKC is currently the 5th seed in the West right behind the Utah Jazz. The battle of the 4th seed comes early.

Both teams are in the playoffs, this restart is all about seeding for the playoffs.

Playmaker's Pick: Utah Jazz

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Los Angeles Clipper

New Orleans and the LA Clippers both coming off losing their opening restart games on Thursday night. As mention just a few moments ago, the Pelicans lost to the Jazz to open up the NBA Restart. Zion Williamson only played 15 minutes on Thursday night and was not pleased by it. Brandon Ingram looks like the Ingram people wanted to see when he was with the Lakers. To bounce back and continue to fight for the 8th seed in West, they have beat the Clippers.

The Los Angeles Clippers have lost back to back games against the Lakers, bring that 2019-2020 series to a two-two tie as the Clippers dominated the first two meetings on Opening Night and Christmas Day, but now the Lakers have even things up. The Clippers are missing two of their most important bench players, Montenzl Harrell, who hasn't rejoined the team in Orlando due to family matters and Lou Williams, who has be to quarantine for 10 days after news came out about him going to Magic City in Atlanta when he left the team for family matters. Nevertheless, the Clippers still have Paul George and Kawhi Leonard leading them in the 2nd seed currently.

Playmaker's Pick: LA Clippers

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Indiana Pacers

Two teams in the East finally get their restart season tipped off today. The battle of the 5th seed in the East is in this games. The Philadelphia 76ers currently the 6th seed in East and very surprising given the talent that this team has. Bret Brown has made a change for the restart by putting Ben Simmons in the 4th spot or power forward position. This moves might be the turning point as Simmons will be a matchup nightmare if he's plays game correctly. Underachieving not good for the 76ers but they right the ship by getting the opening w
