Both Titles Are On The Line At The Main Event of Wrestlemania 38

Alex Al-Kazzaz

Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns. A Winner Takes All Match. The Beast Incarnate vs The Tribal Chief. Now that's a high-caliber blockbuster match! Perhaps calling it the main event is NOT ENOUGH! The WWE title and the Universal title are on the line at the main event of this year's Wrestlemania. Two titles but ONE winner.

It's not the first time we've seen Lesnar and Reigns fight at Wrestlemania. The main event of Wrestlemania 31, we remember how that ended. Their encounter at Wrestlemania 34 was poorly received by the audience. What's really interesting is that in this coming encounter, Lesnar is the good guy and Reigns is the bad guy. In the previous two encounters, it was the other way around. These two have a huge history and it involves more than Wrestlemania matches.

A few years ago, the main event at Wrestlemania saw the two Women's titles be unified. So perhaps it's time to do it with the men's titles. Although it does raise a few questions, one of them being if the split-brand concept stays or leaves. WWE is looking to heavily improve its content in order to brighten the company's future.

Roman Reigns really has been on quite a tear since returned to action back in 2020 when he won the Universal title and turned heel. The Tribal Chief storyline is pretty interesting. Reigns even managed to get over with the fans. Amazing how when he plays the villain, he's well adored by the fans! Lesnar is getting very good reactions, as well, but when it comes to Lesnar, it's astonishing that he appears on WWE programming on a full-time basis!

The match between Lesnar and Reigns to unify the titles is a match for the ages. Based on the storyline, it looks as though Reigns will win. WWE has something huge going on with Reigns, so it would be a shame to destroy it when the storyline is truly at its peak.
