First Ticket Punched: OVC Women's Champions Not Going Dancing

The first NCAA Automatic Ticket was punched earlier today.

The Ohio Valley Women's Championship game featured University of Tennessee-Martin (16-15) against University of Southern Indiana (23-6).

This game was over from the beginning as the Screaming Eagles of Southern Indiana jumped out of top 17-8 after the first quarter and they never looked back. The Screaming Eagles would win 81-53, however they won't be dancing into the NCAA Tournament due to the NCAA Reclassification Rule.

A rule that prohibits a school to compete in the NCAA Tournament for four years, therefore University of Tennessee-Martin will be dancing in their placed despite losing handily.
