LeBron James is officially the NBA's All-time scoring leader Tuesday night. LeBron was just 36 points away from surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar going into Tuesday night's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. It only took 3 quarters for The King to capture the record on a vintage fadeaway jumper with 10 seconds left.

It was a great for those inside Crypto.com Arean and those watching- around the world to watch history being made. Adam Silver took to the court to congratulate LeBron James with the Captain standing by to pass the ball to James in a "passing of the torch" moment.

However, there was a game to be played and finished. That's exactly what the Oklahoma City Thunder did Tuesday night. Too much of the surprise to everyone watching the Thunder led most of the way in the game. Led Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with 30 points and 8 assists, the OKC Thunder left Los Angeles with the 133-130 win. Three Thunder players scored 20 points, SGA was joined by Jalen Williams with 25 points and Josh Giddy with 20 points. The Thunder was efficient on offense, shooting 52.1% (49-94) from the field and 50% from three-point range (17-34). The youngest team in the NBA was not phrased by the moment of LeBron James and history.

LeBron James finished with 38 points and 7 boards in 34 minutes of play on his historic night.

The Thunder got the win, but this night was about history being made by one of the greats to play the game in LeBron James during Black History Month in the City of Angeles.

Congratulations to LeBron James, the All-Time Leading Scorer in the NBA!!!
