Ramily Talk: Los Angeles Rams Season Preview Week 5-9


Season 4 of Ramily Talk continues as The Playmaker talks about Weeks 5-9 of the Los Angeles Rams' schedule. The Playmaker has the Rams at 2-2 through 4 weeks and now goes through the next five games before the Rams' Bye Week.


These five games feature three straight home games and back-to-back road games that includes America's Team and Lambeau Field.


During this annual season preview, The Playmaker will:

  • Recap the 2022 season for each respective team.

  • Go over each team's off-season moves.

  • Last respective meeting(s) with the Rams.

  • Give his honest prediction of the games.


Week 5 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The Rams begins their three-game home stretch with visit by the reigning NFC champions, Philadelphia Eagles. This will be first meeting against Jalen Hurts.



Week 6 vs. Arizona Cardinals

This will be the first meeting of 2023 between the Rams and Cardinals out in Los Angeles. Kylar Murray status is still unknown currently and could be missing this game. Both teams split their 2022 season meetings.



Week 7 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The third game of the three-game home stretch will have the Pittsburgh Steelers rolling into SoFi Stadium. Both these teams haven't faced off since 2019 in Pittsburgh. Mike Tomlin and Sean McVay face off for the first time.



Week 8 at Dallas Cowboys

After the three-home game stretch, the Rams have back-to-back road games begins with a trip to the Billion Dollar Playpen in Arlington, Texas. Last season, the Cowboys went out to LA and defeated the Rams. They rematch it in Week 8.



Week 9 at Green Bay Packers

The second of the Rams' back-to-back road games is in a familiar place in Wisconsin. Once again, the Rams travel to Lambeau Field to face off against the Green Bay Packers. This game, however, will have a different feel, because Aaron Rodgers is no longer the QB in Green Bay.
