Tyreek Hill Has Been Traded To The Dolphins

By Alex Al-Kazzaz

Tyreek Hill's career is ready to begin it's new chapter. The Chiefs have sent the six-time Pro Bowler to the Miami Dolphins and receive five draft picks in exchange. Kansas City precisely receives a 2022 first-round, a second-round, and fourth-round pick. They also get a 2023 fourth and fifth-round pick.

Hill receives a four-year, $120 million extension, with $72.2 million guaranteed. This makes Hill the highest-paid receiver in the history of the NFL. Hill was also reportedly linked with a possible trade to the New York Jets.

A few days ago, the Chiefs signed JuJu Smith-Schuster to a one-year deal. However, sending Hill away certainly makes things a bit difficult for the Chiefs, but it shouldn't affect them too much. No doubt, the Chiefs will probably have to draft a wide receiver in the draft and groom him to be the team's future playmaker.

As far as Hill goes, the QB situation in Miami is a cause for concern. It'll certainly be huge to see Hill and Tua form a connection on the gridiron. Of course, it's best to hope that Tua can stay healthy. The Dolphins recently signed Teddy Bridgewater, so we can expect him and Tua to compete for the starting job during training camp. Either way, the Dolphins better have plans to make the T. Hill trade work out for the best.

The AFC West has been very busy this off-season. The blockbuster trades, the major free-agent signings, etc. The Chiefs will be challenged by Denver and Las Vegas, without a doubt. Overall, it's been quite an interesting off-season for the league as a whole!
