Best on The Mic: The Sweet Sixteen is Set


The Round of 32 is over. The Sweet Sixteen is set for the Best on The Mic Tournament. Started out with 64 men, now only 16 remain. How does the brackets look now?


The Ric Flair Bracket

The Flair Bracket had some good classic matches. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan defeated Chris Jericho by a vote of 33-24 that kicked off the Round of 32. Ric Flair styled and profiled all over Mick Foley by a vote of 26-2. The Undertaker took out Vince McMahon in a close contest by 4 votes, 16-12. Finally, Rowdy Roddy Piper needed a plus-one vote in Overtime to defeat Eddie Guerrero.


Ric Flair, Rowdy Roddy Piper, The Undertaker, and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan remain in the Flair Bracket.

The Dusty Rhodes Bracket

The Rhodes Bracket has some interesting and dream matches that happen in the Round of 32.

Jake "The Snake" Roberts defeated Mr. Perfect, Curt Henning by a vote of 23-11. The American Dream, Dusty Rhodes dismantle the Bully of Dudleyville Bubba Ray with a vote of 66-7. Mr. Terry Funk was no match for Mr. Pipebomb, CM Punk. 32-3, Punk over Funk. Finally, it was Stone Cold raising hell more than Bray Wyatt as Austin defeated Wyatt 21-7.


Dusty Rhodes, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and CM Punk remain in the Rhodes Bracket.

The Hulk Hogan Bracket

The Hogan Bracket put out some intriguing matchups especially, a dream match that had people thinking.

It was the battle of the Kings in this bracket. Jerry "The King" Lawler went up against Booker T. A very close contest as you would expect, but KING BOOKER ruled the land by a vote of 19-15 over Jerry Lawler. Paul Heyman went up against Edge which was thought to be a interesting one. It was not as Paul Heyman took it by a vote of 20-4. An intriguing matchup took place between Hulk Hogan and the Velveteen Dream. Unfortunately, for the Dream people very little of Velveteen. Hogan 14-Dream 5. Finally it was a dream match that only wish for. Macho Man Randy Savage against the Samoan Machine Samoa Joe. Tough decision but most people knew what they had to do so by a vote 38-10, the Macho Man moves on.


Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage, Paul Heyman, and Booker T remain in the Hogan Bracket.

The Rock Bracket

The Rock Bracket was more old rivalries being relived was some what if matchups.

Jim Cornette went up against Diamond Dallas Page and Jimmy Corn took it 16-6 in voting. Ol skool matchup relived as Ravishing Rick Rude and Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase did battle. A shocked took place as Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase ousted Ravishing Rick Rude in the Second Round by a vote of 15-10. Next, WrestleMania 22 revisited as Triple H went against John Cena. Just the ending of WrestleMania 22, John Cena defeated Triple H in this one 14-10 in voting. Finally, The People's Champ took on The Governor. The Rock vs. Jesse "The Body" Ventura, but this one was not close. By a vote of 21-1, The Rock le=aid the smackdown on Ventura.
